Perched high above the city, Marugame Castle’s towering stone walls and original keep offer some of the most commanding views in Kagawa, making it one of Japan’s most striking surviving feudal castles.

Kotohiragu Shrine in Kagawa is one of Japan’s most famous pilgrimage destinations. Climb over 1,300 stone steps through historic streets and forested paths to reach the inner shrine, with sweeping views and seasonal cherry blossoms along the way.
