Camino Francés - Day 17: Boadilla del Camino to Carrión de los Condes
We took it slow today since one of our group members had foot pain. The route was flat but ran alongside the road, which wasn’t the most enjoyable walk. With little shade, the heat was tough for me, so reaching Carrión de los Condes felt like a huge relief.
On our way to the albergue, a local man asked where we were headed and helpfully pointed us to the correct street for our albergue entrance—saving us time and confusion. The albergue had a big kitchen, so we bought groceries at a nearby grocery and made dinner, a nice way to unwind after the day.
